Job Description:

  • Our higher education client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Student Financials (SF) Subject Matter Expert to lead a major functional re-implementation effort across key Student Financials processes.
  • This role will ensure optimal configuration, process alignment, and successful delivery of enhancements tied to tuition calculation, payment application, and refunding.
  • The SME will work closely with institutional stakeholders, technical teams, and functional leads to analyze current workflows, recommend improvements, and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the current PeopleSoft Student Financials setup, workflows, and integrations.
  • Lead the re-implementation of Payment Applier, Tuition Calculation, and Refunding processes.
  • Provide functional expertise in Student Financials, Financial Aid interactions, item types, and GL interfacing.
  • Advise on industry best practices and process optimization strategies.
  • Ensure key project timelines, deliverables, and objectives are fully met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and institutional stakeholders to support project alignment and decision-making.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Strong, hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Student Financials in a higher education environment.
  • Deep functional knowledge of tuition calculation, payment application, refunding, item types, and SF–GL integration.
  • Experience working with Campus Solutions 9.2, PeopleTools 8.59, and Oracle database environments.
  • Excellent communication, advisory, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Prior experience supporting long-term SF implementations or redesign projects.
